Equine Assisted Services

EAS encompasses a variety of activities involving a team approach of horses and people. There are various ways that we include horses in treatment, learning, and achieving life skills to grow and thrive.

Equine Assisted Learning (EAL)

Hands-on experiential learning with the horses to boost confidence, skills, abilities, and learning outcomes. This can be done one-on-one or in small groups of up to 5 people. The team includes the horse, the client(s), and an equine specialist. Depending on the goals and outcome, it may also include a learning professional (teacher, instructor, or learning aid).

Cost Individual one-on-one: $80 for one hour session

Group (up to 5) $150 for 1.5 hour session

Equine Assisted Therapy (EAT)

Involves a licensed mental health professional as part of the team to work through past and present issues that the client wishes to address. The team includes the horse, the client, the equine professional, and the mental health professional.

Cost $80 + Mental Health Professional’s rate

Equine Assisted Coaching (EAC)

Utilizing techniques to achieve goals and focus on self improvement. Sessions are facilitated by a success coach and utilize the team approach involving horses. The focus is on the future and in achieving goals and learning new skills for living a fulfilling life. It is an approach for moving ahead and breaking through barriers.

Cost: Dependent on programs (3, 6, 9, and 12 month programs)
